I liked the show. It has flaws, but there are too many anime anyway full of overused cliches, especially harem and martial arts action shows. Maybe I’m just happy to see a somewhat “realistic” mature green collar anime like Black Lagoon. You’re not told what Jourmungand is until season two, so that can be an issue, since it just seemed like it was about a young “albino” girl in the arms dealer business, which is still different.

hehe ure so harsh ^_^ yet precise.
after watching Jormungand i had nearly same thoughts like you. I though its gonna be fun show with lots of action and emotional drama aswell. Maybe some sort of hybrid like Black Lagoon&Full Metal Panic. Which show us harsh nature of humankind while watching our heroes&heroines struggle. Jonah kinda smilar to Sousuke Sagara from FMP you know. Sigh… yet my dream shattered in first few episode and i hardly watched all of em. Maybe i expect too much from Jormungand? i dont know.
maybe i should review Jormungand next? >_<

You know, they switched up the order of the events in this episode. The bar performance occurs at the end of volume 2. The kiss and Sentarou’s background happen in volume 3. I wonder what this will mean for future episodes?
